3. How does Colobridge use and share your personal data?
3.1. Colobridge may use your personal data for the following purposes:

This may include: (i) providing services or carrying out transactions requested by end users or our business partners; (ii) providing information about Colobridge products, services, and transactions, as well as advertising, that may be of interest to you; (iii) ensuring a more consistent user experience for you and our business partners when interacting with Colobridge or with business partners, including by learning about you and your use of websites, products, and services; and (iv) planning, managing, and executing our contractual relationships with you or our business partners.

3.4.5. Colobridge may share your personal data with other companies in the Colobridge Group, including those in other countries. In this case, these other Colobridge companies will use your data in accordance with this policy and all applicable data protection laws.
3.5. Colobridge may share anonymized or aggregated information internally and with third parties for any purpose. This information cannot be used to identify you and is not considered your personal data.
4. Safety and storage period
4.1. We make reasonable efforts to ensure a level of security appropriate to the risk involved in processing your personal data. We maintain organizational, technical, and administrative measures designed to protect the personal data covered by this policy from unauthorized access, destruction, loss, alteration, or misuse. Access to personal data is restricted to a limited number of employees who need this information to perform their duties.

The storage of end customers' personal data is governed by the agreement with the respective business partner and their lawful instructions as the data controller.

Colobridge takes appropriate contractual or other measures to ensure adequate protection of personal data that is disclosed to third parties or transferred to another country, including transfers within Colobridge. For transfers to third countries, we have entered into standard contractual clauses approved by the European Commission to ensure an adequate level of protection for the transfer of your personal data to these entities outside the EEA.
4.4. Although we use security measures to protect your personal data from unauthorized disclosure, misuse or alteration, as with all internet-connected computer networks, we cannot guarantee the security of information transmitted over the internet and are not liable for security breaches that are beyond our reasonable control.
4.5. The storage period for your personal data varies and depends on the purpose and use of the data collected. Certain types of data are subject to statutory retention periods. Otherwise, we only store your data for as long as necessary for the purposes for which it was collected.
